Louis BAUDRON started first riding pony’s galloping races ! He’s lucky to have a gentleman-rider victory with MARRIED, belonging to his grandfather in Niort for his first gallop participation.
His first victories…

He then spent a year in Australia as a trainer with horses EVASON, MORELLO…
« So it was at Warwick Farm, where he chose to settle during the Australian winter (2015’s summer in France), that Louis Baudron enjoyed the pleasure and satisfaction of seeing one of his residents cross the post as winner. Holder of more than 500 trotting victories and fifty galloping on our soil, the grandson of Jean-Pierre Dubois and Roger Baudron wanted a new challenge and it is towards the continent island that he is logically shot: « A beautiful country where the racing industry is in constant progress », according to the interested party.
Installed on this racecourse near Sydney, with a dozen horses under his training, Louis Baudron still surprised the local specialists the Wednesday, January 20 in 2016. Having had, so far, only a handful of starters, the French had gleaned small accesses to Rosehill and Randwick with Orion Love (ex-Pantall, 3rd of the Prix de Royaumont (Gr.2) and 2nd of the Prix de Malleret (Gr.3)). When he presents Evason, who has not raced for 9 months, over 2400 meters and faces the coalition of the specialist « long distances », Chris Waller, it is given a chance to outsider at 17/1 .
But the son of Galileo arrived « fit and ready » on this McGrath Handicap and he places a nice acceleration in the final phase to dominate the trio of the Waller composed of Spingbok Flyer, Ashkannd (formerly Aga Khan, placed Listed in France) and Anglo Irish.
Very well born, Evason, gelding of 5 years by Galileo and Soneva, a triple winner of group 3 including the Prix d’Aumalle in Chantilly and the Prix de Lieurey in Deauville, will keep a special place in the heart of Louis Baudron. Having started and won in Ireland at the age of 2, under the training of Jim Bolger, he had to skip his 3 year old and reappeared at the age of 4, in France, in the Christophe Ferland squad for whom he won the Jonquilles Prize in Nantes.
A test on 2200 meters where he preceded a little nose a certain Satanicjim, the student of Alain Couétil just concluded 2015 with two great success including a Listed Toulouse, the Max Sicard Award.
The opposite, Evason worked since September and had only made a good impression in a « barrier trial », qualifying event for the official competition. And his new mentor said of him: « It’s a horse that needs long distance, that’s why we ran it on 2400 meters as soon as it came back in. He had proved his outfit in France, going through a sprinting would have been stupid! «
And add with humor: « Arriving here, he had long hair and need to adapt to Australia … a bit like me! » France Sire
His first galloping horse was SILVER VALNY. Gelding (2007) He won several LISTED and « Groupe ». It then gave him the desire to breed and train gallopers.

His first winner as a coach has been STREET LAIR.
